Currently, people are living in different levels of comfort. Since the 20th century, certain people have always been treated as second-class citizens because of their state. The people with disability have always suffered in silence without any likelihood of help coming along. The migrants from certain countries have equally been treated differently.

These people seem to suffer in their host countries more than they did in their original countries. For such reasons, different groups have come up with ways to help these minorities. Their assistance comes from various angles. Some of these organizations are discussed below.

Certain tasks can be handled by these people regardless of their state. The attitudes that have been developed against them have reduced their chances of getting such jobs. The learning institutions are equally reluctant to develop special facilities for people with disability. The American Association for people with disability is a not profit making organization which ensures that this group of people get a fair treatment at all times.

Fund for global human rights

This is a group that does not actively participate in human rights activities, but they fund the organizations that do. The group uses its resources to ensure that all the people in the United States get fair treatment.

The government has to be inclusive of all its citizens. The migrants have had challenges coexisting with people because of how they are perceived. Human rights are ignored by the influential people who are above the law. With this focus, the organization has spent over $75 million to champion for such rights.

The Border Advocacy Groups

Different groups have together to ensure that the migrants have security at the borders. During the process of migration, several deaths have been witnessed. There is no protection for these migrants, and their lives are constantly in danger.

The border advocacy groups are spread in different locations. With a common intention, it is easy for them to provide for security through aw enactment. The groups are composed of activists, lawyers and other people with different professions who have the same will. Their influence has been felt, and many migrants have been kept safe through their actions.

Lacey and Larkin Frontera Fund

Jim Larkin and Michael Lacey have participated in funding the civil, human and migrant rights. In 2007, the two were arrested from their homes because of the article they wrote about the Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio.

After defending their rights using the First Amendment to the Constitution, they were compensated a sum of $3.75 million. Since their rights were violated, the two journalists donated these funds to be used in fighting for the human rights. The amount has been used in supporting different activities and safeguarding the human rights.

Michael Lacey and Jim Larkin would end up taking this to court where they would be awarded a settlement totaling how at $3.75 million. They would use these financials to start up the Lacey and Larkin Frontera Fund.

They have dedicated their organization to promoting to goods in the United States of America. The first good they promote is a integration system so that immigrants can come to America and successfully be assimilated into the culture as productive citizens. The second good is the protection of their First Amendment rights. In both regards they seek to train American citizens by equipping them with knowledge and skills so that they can promote a worldview change in this great country. Over time, these two things will change for us all.
